Our Happy Hormones are exploding like fireworks as we introduce you to DOSE Magazine packed with insightful articles and a library of free resources.
One in six children struggle with their mental health, with statistics predicted to rise as a result of the latest lockdown. Referrals to counsellors and mental health teams are increasing day by day and child suicide rates are at an all-time high, in fact, 7% of UK children have attempted suicide by the age of 17, which is a shocking statistic.
As a team of Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Counsellors and Mental Wellness Professionals, we felt moved to build a hub of happiness, that used psychoeducation to improve the emotional intelligence of parents and teachers, supporting this with coping strategies and a toolkit of activities to actively focus on happiness, something we often take for granted.
The more we work at happiness the happier we are and the better our outlook on life is, we look for the positives, we appreciate the little things and best of all happiness is contagious. Actively and intentionally boosting our happy hormones means we increase the chemicals that work to reduce anxiety, stress and challenge low mood, which has a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing.
All of our resources are free, so take what you need, share because you care and together let's move towards a happier tomorrow.
